Go Take a hike!!
We had some time down in St. George and we always talk about going hiking but we never make it. Today we finally did. We went hiking in Snow Canyon. It was so gorgeous and fun. It was so nice to just get away as a family. Sariah and Bubba actually had a good time in between the whining. I took a ton of pictures and have a lot I want to post so sorry for the vertical slideshow!!
Kempton could not get enough of the red sand. When we were walking he would kick it and watch it fly in front of him. Then he discovered he could actually get down and touch it...What a cute kid.
This is my handsome man of a husband and our nifty backpack. Bubba loved it and he would keep pointing everwhere saying, "Look!" then "Wow!" It was awesome to know our kids love the outdoors as much as we do.
We found a lot of fun rock formations. Rustin would love to explain each and every grain of sand and how it got there for you. It is kind of fun to have my own soil tour guide. He really is a smarty pants. Isn't Sariah cute?...I know.
Here's Bubba peaking through the hole too...
Here's the final picture for this segment. We found tons of fun holes that we could crawl in. This one had tons of little caves all over in it. It was pretty awesome.

So... can I be cheesy for a second. I have the picutre of Rustin hiking with Sariah in his backpack, and he's looking up (the one you have on here in black and white) on my desktop at work. I just logged back on my computer and when I looked at it I had this thought that it reminded me of his role here. Like he is treking through life with his family on his back, and looking up for guidance. It brought tears to my eyes. Man I love Rustin! He's such an example to me. So are you Sarah! You guys are truly my inspiration! I'm glad you posted that picture because now I don't think I can remove it... it inspires me.
