After Sariah would go down the hill, She would lean over the sled and do this thumbs up!!

Me and Bubba.

I think that I love this picture so much because it shows that she is going to be a good horse rider. Look how controlled she is on those reigns. She really had a lot of fun.

This is going over the jump. I just loved her face of absolute enjoyment. This picture below looks like she is crying, but that is her I-am- having- so- much-fun-I-can't-stand-it face. Believe me I know the difference.

If any of you have not read Joseph B. Wirthlin's talk from conference, I HIGHLY recommend it to you. I'll tell you what I got from it and then you can form your own opinion after you read it. It said to me that things in life happen and we can either choose to smile and take it as an adventure or we can choose to sit in a corner and boo hoo about it. Either way it still happens. So this is what's been going on. Today is my third day getting called off of work in a row. Right now I am the only one working so ummm... you do the math. Well today, me and Rus were kind of sad about it "boo hoo" and I thought to myself, "Self is this making it better or worse??" and I answered real quick back, "WORSE!!" So that's when we (as in me, myself and I) decided that I was not going to sit around this sad shack one more moment. I told Rus to get dressed and dragged the kids upstairs and dressed them and we went sledding "smile." We had so so much fun. The sun was shining and it was perfect weather. Sariah got really really into it and she pretty much sled the whole time. Bubba did not really find the same thrill in it and so he stayed at the top of the hill and made shooting noises while chucking snowballs. Anyways, we took a bunch of pictures and even a video. So it was a good lesson for me and we did actually laugh a lot! Bonus: It's free!!!

I wish the snow would stay long enough here to go sledding. We bought Nyah some snow pants and I'm afraid we will never be able to use them! "Pout pout" I totally love that talk to and I think it is something I could read faithfully as a reminder to stay happy and positive about everything! Love you Sarah!
SO FUNNY! I laughed so hard at all these pictures and the video. Fun stuff! That is the perfect sledding hill for the kids! That is an amazing talk, I am going to have to go read it again now. This post is hilarious and amazing! I posted something you may enjoy on my blog... check it! Oh... Sarah, we have to move Nic's shower. I'll call you about it.
Way to go Sara! That is so true. It looks like you had so much fun, it really make me miss Cedar City! I loved the video, so cute!
I loved that talk too! Great pictures. I am glad you had a Merry Christmas!
I should look up that talk. Thanks for being a good example and a "doer". I seem to know what makes it worse when things are hard, but just boob around anyway. It is important to pull up the ole boot straps, pick up my chin and make the best of this adventure. Good job on being a great mom. Sariah's pictures were awesome. She will remember sledding forever more and will ask you all the time to go now! So fun! (thumbs up) Take care and may there be more babies coming in Cedar your next shifts!
I forgot to say in my last comment that you definitely need to switch back to nights...I haven't been on call in over a month and...I miss you on nights!
that is so much fun.
