Oh!! Christmas tree and Frosty the...snowman.

We FINALLY decorated our tree!! I'm just not feeling very festive this year so it took a while. Usually I am a little obsessive about the lights on the tree, this year Rustin had them up in about 5 minutes. When it was time to hang things on it, I really let the kids express themselves and let them have free reign at the box. Sariah put all of hers on one strand of the lights-seriously. I tried to take a good picture but there is actually 23 of these shiny balls in this one small section of our tree and I don't really care. I think it looks kinda cute and she was very very proud of herself. I didn't have the energy or the heart to remove them.

Here is Bubba's creation. He took all the stars and put them on one branch. Here is 3 of them, he knocked about 5 or so off before I could get the camera.

This is the joyful face of child #1 when she, Rustin and Bubba went outside to build a snowman. She used buttons for the eyes and icesicles ( I don't know how to spell- sorry) for the nose and arms. That is a purple elastic as the mouth.

Here Bubba's snowman. Every time we walk by it Sariah says, "There's the ugly snowman who doesn't have any eyes!" She is such a self esteem builder-my gosh!
