Easter "Egg"stravaganza...

This year for Easter the plan was to go up north and spend it with our families. Instead it turned out we hung out with our own family. We were really sad about not being with them and doing the traditional things. So instead of going up north, we went down south to St. George. While walking around in Target the Easter Bunny called Rustin's phone and told him that the kids were suppossed to go to the Bear Mill and make their own friends. It was pretty fun and cute. We now have added two new animals to our family (which already has a giraffe (Gracie), a horse (Zebedee), a monkey (Madelyn), a couple bears (Quincee and Holly), an elephant (Arsis) and a koala bear (Sydnee)) now joining will be Sariah's hippo (Hailee) and Bubba's zebra (Sam). It's funny because I told Sariah that when a baby is born the parents are given the phone numbers to the Easter Bunny, Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy.

Here we are in our Easter outfits. Rustin made me get an outfit and believe it or not he had to really put up a fight. I guess his loss was my gain cause I got a pretty cute skirt and some amazingly cute shoes for a steal of a deal-$4.99!!!!!!!!!!
Here's Sariah in her Easter dress. She is quite the poser and I could not get her to lift her head up. I think she is pretty man. Sometimes I wonder how in the world I got such a cute kid and then I remember it is her saving grace for all her many moments of ugly attitude!! I have noticed that this girl is stubborn and with me being so stubborn we both never give up. I think that stubborness is an awesome trait until you have to go head to head with someone with the same exact amount.

Then there is Bubba who is becoming more and more like the Energizer Bunny!! To say he is two, only means that he now has two times more energy than everyone in our household combined. But he is one cute stinker!!!

This is a funny picture. Why?? Because Sariah wouldn't lift her head and so Bubba looked over and tried to do exactly what his big sis was doing. He really does worship the ground she walks on.

Precious moment... I wish they were always this loving towards each other, but then it wouldn't make these moments so precious (you know opposition in all things...). I hope everyone had a good Easter Sunday. I love Easter just for the feeling of a new beginning and a reminder of our Savior, Jesus Christ and how much He truly loves us. I love the saying that says, "He died for us so we would live for Him."

Love that the Easter Bunny called. So cute. the kids are cute in their outfits. We went to see my family and IN and it was a nice sacrament program.
I was thinking of you this weekend when I watched Marley and me. I LOVED it. I loved it because of how true it was. It was very validating. I like when she said that, "no one warned us that this would be hard." And he said that,"they did, we just thought they were miserable people." Being a parent and spouse is so hard with the kids and the demands on us and the sacrifices made. I found it to be sad about the dog, but very encouraging. I want to watch it with Steve so he knows that we are normal!
