Hi! Remember me?

So I went to Best Buy and told the computer geeky genius my issue. Guess who was the geek!!!??? Okay he still was, but I joined the squad (get it geek squad?). He showed me how to use my nifty multi card reader and Wala!!!! So I haven't been able to blog since October. I will now try and cover the past 3 months. So all of you who were waiting on the edge of your seats driving yourselves mad over missing out on what I have been doing-take a deep breath and sit back. First of all, those of you who did not receive our Christmas card, don't feel left out, no one got one. So I guess I'll do a little update at the end of this blabbing session.

Once upon a time, about 3 months ago, my kids were really bored.....seriously bored. Sariah decided she would put a whole new spin on the term: "pillow fight." I highly recommend this if your kids like to beat the crap out of each other.

Need I say more? They did this for a long long long time. No injuries were accomplished by either team.

THANKSGIVING:
Officer Hubby was a witness to this family ride. All the grand kids love to ride on the 4-wheeler with grandpa. To extinguish any chance of fighting he decided to pile them all on and yes I mean all 6 of them + grandpa. We had one scare, when Bubba decided to grab a tree branch above his head when they went under a tree. It pulled him backwards and luckily grandpa was able to whip him forward before he flew off.

BACK VIEW...
Thanksgiving was seriously so fun. We had a major "discussion" about New Moon and the appeal it has to women and the jealousy it causes in men. It was so fun to laugh our heads off together, even when the men knew they were so wrong.

Later.....We got snow. We decided to go play in our backyard since we never have had one before to play in. I think me and Rus had more fun than the kids. We decided we would have a snowman contest. Boys vs. Girls in translation Dad vs. Mom.

I'd like to introduce you to our 2nd place winner. Conservation Officer Frosty. It was pretty well thought out. Our first place winner did something that most men don't do: paid attention to DETAIL.

This little caroler took a little while. But I think she turned out pretty spiffy if I do say so myself.
AND THEN THERE WAS CHRISTMAS:

This picture was taken right after our very spiritual discussion held on our bed. I thought we should probably add a little spiritual sprinkle to this day. So we gathered and I started out my sermon by asking the question: We know that at Christmas we are excited about presents and stuff, but what is it about really? Sariah: "Well, I know that the Santa Claus at the mall is not really Santa Claus but it is his helper and we tell him what we want and then he goes and enters it online." I reply (feeling so awesome to have taught my child to be so spiritual throughout her life): "yeah....and it is also about Jesus and him being our gift to us. I then decide to start reading the Bible (Luke 2). I would pause and ask questions, but it was pretty much pointless. The final clincher was when I was telling them how special this day is and how we need to be thankful and Sariah interupts: :"BLAH BLAH BLAH can we just get to the presents already?" I took a big-huge-giagantic-enourmous-endless-forever-deep breath and looked to the spouse to take over before I gave Sariah a special "gift."

This is the pig she wanted. She named him Wilver, thinking she was saying Wilbur. I just left it as Wilver so it could have it's own personality. She was way excited.

The best gift we got the kids was these cardboard houses from Costco. They each got one and a pack of markers. They can write all over them and do whatever they want to them. They love them and we have had many of sleepovers in the playroom. This pic is of Bubba decorating the inside of his house.

Sariah posing for the camera. Her entire roof is full of smiley faces and colors. I hope the more she sits in this mini size personal home the happiness will radiate into her brain.

Here is a shot of the neighborhood. They are pretty good neighbors. Sariah wanted to have them share her house and have Bubba's house be the party house. I had to explain to her that it would probably be funner to share this 3x3 house with yourself and some stuffed animals.

A little UPDATE:
Officer Hubby: continues to LOVE his job. He was on the news the other night when a mountain lion/cougar ate a poor Yorksire terrier in Peoa. He was also interviewed by the Park Record newspaper about the incident. He is very busy due to ice fishing season and the problem of people thinking it is okay to use TWO poles without a TWO pole permit. Come on people!! He also has had the opportunity to be in a couple poaching cases. When he is home he loves to cheer on his Colts and watch Duke games. I often sit by him on the couch......ahhh precious.
Nurse Wife: I am pretty much an onery-bad mood-yelling-crying woman. I know everyone is just yearning to be around me. Change sucks. Due to the fact that I am so happy, I will just continue on to the cute duo.
Sariah: Well she is her mother's daughter.....but she is doing awesome at school. She is starting to read so well. It is really weird sometimes to realize I am old enough to have a child who can read sentences like my two favorites: I am not a man. My mom is Super. She draws non-stop and loves to draw flowers and write me little cute love notes. She really can be sweet.
Bubba: Oh Bubba. He is growing and I keep trying to just believe he is still a baby. I know he should be potty training and we have tried, but I think I will sob when my baby is strutting around in undies. One thing about Bubba is he is really polite. I'll change his diaper, wash his face or get him dressed and it always ends with a "Thanks Mom." Right at the moment he has a double ear infection and a non-stop cough.
Well that is about it. I am learning to like my job. My coworkers there are very patient with me. We have really learned to lean on each other and I have had to learn to be assertive. Stop laughing! See how assertive that was. I hope you all had a very merry and wish you all a very very positive New Year.

LOVE ME.

Oh, I have missed your blog...and I thought that I already commented...like 2 weeks ago. Anyway, your kids are adorable and awesome. Jenna asked for t he exact same Furreal and we had to order it on Amazon...she named her's "Piggy", very original! Also I know what you mean about your baby Buba...Trevor is about to be 1 now and I was appauled that Steve suggest that we nip the bottl ein the bud right away...how dare he make my baby grow up! So are you on a LD unit in Park City? I am finally liking my job here. VVMC is the gold standard, huh? I am glad that your hub is famous and getting all those 2 polers! As far as you, I know that chage is hard and such an adjustment...don't foregt you are human. It is human to yell and scream and cry...well it is in our house. Take care and keep posting...I could use a weekly dose!
