Have any of you recently watched Major League Baseball? And have you seen a broken bat go flying in to the infield or to the stands? If you have or have not, do you feel like this is a danger to fans and players? Should Major League baseball ban a certain type of bat if they are more dangerous? Would knowing there is a possibility of being hit by a broken bat make you more hesitant to go to a game? This is for a research paper I am writing for an English class. So help if you can. Thanks Rustin

Um... I am neither a husband, nor do I have one, SOOO does my opinion count? And... how is this going to be an unbiased poll? Does it only matter what "husbands" think as to whether or not they should ban a certain type of bat. Do only men watch sports? In the words of John Bytheway, are you defining sisters for "what they lack"? I say YES!!!
In my personal "non husband" opinion, I don't think they need to ban wooden bats from major league baseball. How many years has this sport been played? And how many times has someone been stabbed, or dare I say "nicked" with a half broken bat flying through the air? Since when did a little sliver ever hurt anyone? If you don't want to take the risk of being skewered with a baseball bat, don't sit near home plate. I think that apes had the ability to duck, therefor, so do we! I say Nay!
