A small glimpse into the future...

This is Sariah. I think she's cute, but I am her mother after all. Plus as you can tell by the shirt, she is my biggest fan (who dressed her?). I took these pictures before she left for school today because she was ready way too early and I freeze my guts off waiting for the bus forever. Sarah what is the point here??? I'm not ready for her to grow up that's the major point.
She has the most sweetest, dorkiest, and insane attitude ever. She has been going to a special school to help her with her talking. She doesn't have a problem with speech, she just has a small issue of not using her voice outside of our house. Hardly anyone who is not related to us has heard her very sweet, dorky and insane voice. It is a result of anxiety and I have no clue who she would have gotten that from :)... But we met with a nice therapist lady yesterday and she let me know that I wasn't overexaggerating and it is good we caught is so soon. I don't know why I am blabbing on about this, I guess I just like to let people I love know what in the world is going on here.Well with no voice, you would think she wouldn't have guy issues (oh yeah and the fact that she is only flippin 4 years old!!). I guess Ursala, from the Little Mermaid, was right when she said, "never underestimate the importance of body language!" Today Sariah came home with a bracelet on her wrist, I thought it was a cute craft she made at school. So when she said she didn't make anything at school today, I questioned the very elaborate pipe cleaner beaded bracelet she was wearing and she said, "Oh this? This is from too-mature-for-his-age." ** (**=The name of the said boy is withheld just for fun and in case anyone comes upon my blog while stalking and happens to be his mother and thought that amazing bracelet was for her). Okay now that we have HIPPA covered let us continue. I say to Sariah so did he accidentally put this in your backpack or was it on purpose? She gets a grin on her face and says, "On purpose." Rustin then asks her if everyone got a bracelet in the class or just her: "Just me." That's when we asked her if he stands by her in line and she says to us, "No I'm after him." I try not to freak out and I say WHAT! What do you mean you're after him? She does this weird look and I repeat myself once again, "What do you mean you're after him?!? It reminds me of the part off "Dan in real life," which just happens to be the best movie on earth, where his daughter says to him: "Between the two of us he's the one who wants to wait." Where he quickly responds, "What about that sentence is suppossed to bring me comfort?"
Sariah then says, "Yeah mom they drop him off the bus then me...I'm after him." Oh.
I know that I am probably making too much of this but that's my job right???

This is Bubba during our little photo shoot. I think he exhibits what the inside of my brain looked like perfectly.

Sariah took another picture. Are you getting sick of all these pictures of Bubba playing with my ears? Try being my poor ears.

I'm laughing so hard right now. You are so dang funny! I love "Dan in Real Life" so I was right there with you...shocked at Sariah's answer! Good thing she was speaking literally! You are so funny. I just love you. That picture of Kempton with your caption beneath it just made my day. I could be around you all day and I'd be happy all the time. How lucky that I got to experience that for a transfer! :)
Happy Birthday by the way!! Hope it's a great great day for you- and the best year!
